Description
Take a guided tour of the famous Petra archaeological site for an entire day departing from Tel Aviv. With an optional horseback ride, you can see the desert landscape of Wadi Ram, the seven new wonders of the world, and more as you pass through the picturesque mountains.
When you arrive at Ben Guiron Airport in Tel Aviv, your driver will pick you up at Roman Airport in Eilat. After that, take a ride to the border with Arava and pass through customs and border control.
Change into an air-conditioned car, van, or bus on the Jordanian side of the border, and drive toward Petra. Savor the ride on a roomy and spacious highway.
Reach the historical site of Petra after taking a stunning, scenic route up a mountainside, and discover why it has been named one of the Seven New Wonders of the World. At the entrance, start your guided tour of the property.
An optional horseback ride for the first 200 meters of the route is included in your package. (Tipping the carrier is expected; you can choose to tip between $2 and $5.)
Eat lunch at a genuine neighborhood eatery on your own dime. After that, depart from Petra, make a few stops at observation points, and return to the border while taking in the stunning Wadi Ram desert scenery.
You will have ample time to catch the shuttle to the Ramon Airport and your flight back to Ben Guiron in Tel Aviv after being dropped off at the Eilat Central Bus Station.
